The ADRA Department inaugurated the first community nursery in the municipality of Naguabo, an initiative that seeks to strengthen education in sustainability, food security, and emergency preparedness in the community.

The event took place on March 8 at the Naguabo Pueblo Adventist Church, where approximately 150 people gathered to participate in this educational and service-oriented day. During the meeting, attendees received guidance on the importance of sustainable farming and food production, as well as how these projects can become practical tools for facing times of crisis.

This nursery was created as a space for learning and community collaboration, where people can acquire knowledge about planting, plant care, and healthy living principles, while simultaneously promoting a culture of solidarity and preparedness for emergency situations.

As part of this ongoing initiative, the nursery will open its doors on the last Sunday of each month to offer workshops, demonstrations, and educational activities for the entire community. In addition to promoting self-sufficiency and care for creation, these events aim to share a message of hope and service, inspired by Christian values.

Through projects like this, ADRA reaffirms its commitment to serving the community holistically, responding to people's physical, social, and spiritual needs and reminding everyone that small acts of service can sow great seeds of hope.
