Last Thursday, January 28, the Adventist Educational Corporation joyfully and solemnly celebrated the Preachers' Contest, a formative and spiritual event where children and youth proclaimed the Word of God with conviction, creativity, and faith, according to their grade level.

On the afternoon of Saturday, February 21, the Children’s Ministry Department of the East Adventist Association, under the leadership of Sister Rosa Delgado, along with her colleague Lixamary Pedraza, held a meaningful activity for children under the theme “Fearless Artists.”

With a clear call to theological and missional refocusing, all the pastors representing the Puerto Rican Union of Seventh-day Adventists gathered from February 17-19 at Camp Yuquibo, nestled in the El Yunque mountains, for an experience of training, spiritual renewal, and ministerial vision.

In an atmosphere of fellowship, healthy competition, and spiritual strengthening, Adventist youth from across the island gathered at the Río Grande Adventist Academy to participate in a dynamic volleyball tournament that brought together eight teams representing various churches.

Pastor José Navedo's district, along with Pastor Carlos Martinez, carried out a significant community outreach in the municipality of Loíza, actively involving local churches in a broad day of service and solidarity. The initiatives took place in the communities of Valle Hill, San Isidro, Parcelas Vieques, Melilla, and Parcelas Suárez, as well as at the Municipal Police, State Police, Fire Department, and emergency response agencies.

On Saturday, March 7, the East Adventist Association Women’s Congress began under the theme “Connected to the Heart of God,” bringing together more than 750 women in a spiritual atmosphere. The gathering united women from various churches for a day of worship, testimony, and renewal of their commitment to God and their mission.

On Saturday, April 4, the Preaching and Evangelism Certification program concluded. This initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church aims to proclaim the gospel and prepare men and women for the return of Christ. Pastor Eric Ríos led the program along with Pastor Tony Sandoval, and Antillean University provided academic accreditation.

Last Saturday, March 14, the Youth Department of the East Adventist Association held the special gathering “The Sunset Isn’t the End,” an initiative designed to strengthen the faith, unity, and spiritual commitment of young people.

Sports, healthy competition, and Christian values ​​were all on display Saturday, May 16, at the final of the Volleyball Tournament organized by the Youth Department of the East Adventist Association. This initiative brought together young people from various churches and districts in an environment of fellowship, recreation, and spiritual strengthening.

Last Saturday, May 9th, the moving concert “Roses and Carnations” was held, an evangelistic initiative organized by Radio Sol 98.3 FM, under the direction of Lorraine Vázquez. The event, dedicated to Mother's and Father's Day, brought together more than 700 people for an evening filled with music, testimonies, and messages of hope centered on God.

The Health Ministries Department of the East Adventist Association successfully held the third annual 5K Healthy Route. The event brought together 130 people in Cayey and continues to grow as an initiative that unites health, exercise, and Christian values ​​in the community.

With outstanding attendance and an atmosphere of profound biblical study, the Spirit of Prophecy Department of the East Seventh-day Adventist Conference successfully held the Spirit of Prophecy Symposium on Friday, February 27, and Saturday, February 28, at the Eliezer Meléndez Convention Center.

The East Adventist Association Convention Center became a stage for worship and musical excellence last Saturday, March 28, as it hosted the Choir Festival of the Adventist academies of the Puerto Rico Union. The event began at 3:30 p.m. and brought together students and educators in an experience where music and faith intertwined in an extraordinary way.

On March 19, 2026, the athletic track in the municipality of Río Grande hosted the Field Day for Adventist academies at the middle and high school levels. The event brought together eight educational institutions, including Caguas, Metropolitana, Río Grande, Vega Baja, and Arecibo, and established itself as a space for fellowship, discipline, and healthy competition.

On March 21, young people from across the island joined in the celebration of Global Youth Day, a worldwide initiative that invites Adventist youth to live their faith actively, practically, and visibly in their communities.

Last Saturday, April 18, Camp Yuquibo celebrated its 50th anniversary, solidifying its position as a fundamental space for spiritual, community, and missionary development in the eastern region of Puerto Rico.

The Eliezer Meléndez Convention Center hosted the “Your Esther Moment” campaign, a spiritual renewal event for women, led by Dr. Damaris Lebrón and coordinated by Rosa Delgado, director of the Women’s Ministries Department.
